This might be the coolest thing you see today. This shirt sleeve is actually a touchscreen and it's actually playing a video with sound on someone's arm. It's called Garment Gooey out of National University of Singapore and it was actually published in Nature. So, this is a pretty legit prototype. The screen is made of a bunch of plastic threads and each one is only about a millimeter thick. And each thread has 96 tiny LEDs with touch sensors in them and it's all woven right into the sleeve. So here they tap the menu and it brings up a tiger and when they turn their arm it actually rotates the screen just like a a smartphone would. And here it is as a calculator. So you could literally have something up your sleeve on test day. Sorry about that one. Now it's only 96x 54 pixels which is like way lower resolution than even the original Game Boy was. But it did survive 50 trips through a washing machine and it still works right now. And the professor who led this project said that he believes the most promising use case for this technology is actually in health care. Like clothes that keep track of your body and then let you check the statistics right on your sleeve. So, if you think this is cool, make sure you share it with one of your friends who loves wearable
