Artificial intelligence will take away some of the usual work from people, but this does not mean that humans will not be needed. Those who never learn to use new technologies will be much more vulnerable. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Ulysmedia.kz by an expert in the field of education, head of Coventry University Kazakhstan Miras Daulenov. According to Miras Daulenov, in the coming years it will not be man and machine that will compete with each other. People who learn to use AI in their work will benefit. – In the future, it will not be artificial intelligence that will replace people, but people who know how to work with artificial intelligence will replace those who cannot work with it. The World Economic Forum estimates that about 44% of different skills are lost within five years. Therefore, here Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich correctly said that we do not need to compete with artificial intelligence, but to educate and form people who will be able to work with it in the future. The expert is confident that the changes will affect almost all areas. Among the first, he names transport and logistics. In general, the influence of AI today is noticeable in everyday life: algorithms help select air tickets and tours, are used in medicine and other industries

X. Miras Daulenov focused on professions that until recently were considered especially promising. For example, Kazakhstan has invested in the training of IT specialists for many years. About 10 thousand educational grants are still allocated for this annually. – At one time, we trained a lot of specialists, for example, programmers. But today, artificial intelligence can create the code that programmers write in a matter of seconds. Therefore, the question is how to use artificial intelligence in different sectors of the economy,” the expert explained. Previously, Ulysmedia.kz published a long interview with Miras Daulenov about Kazakh education. The expert talked about why a diploma can no longer be considered a guarantee of a successful career, how artificial intelligence is changing universities, and why the departure of talented Kazakhstanis abroad does not always mean a loss for the country.
