The device determines their size and shows calories and the amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates in it. This way servicemen can see the nutritional value of their rations. The system is not limited to just calculating food content. After the meal, the soldiers can evaluate the quality of the food. If a certain dish consistently receives low ratings or a significant portion of it is not eaten, this information can be taken into account in subsequent menu planning. That is, the opinion of military personnel becomes one of the data used to improve the menu.
