According to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, a project for the production of humanoid robots will be launched in Kazakhstan. It is noted that it will combine the areas of robotics, artificial intelligence and industrial production and will be focused on developing the country’s own technological and engineering competencies. “The project will be implemented jointly with the international technology company AgiBot, specializing in the development and production of humanoid robots and solutions in the field of Embodied AI. The partnership provides for the localization of technologies in Kazakhstan, the development of engineering competencies, conducting scientific research and training of specialists,” the Ministry of Science reported. Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek said that the department’s task is not to limit itself to the implementation of ready-made technological solutions, but to form its own engineering and scientific competencies in Kazakhstan. “The production of humanoid robots should become a platform that unites universities, scientists and industry into a single technological chain. We are talking about a full cycle - from the training of specialists and scientific research to the development of technological solutions and their application in

industry. It is precisely this model of integration of education, science and production that we intend to scale,” said Sayasat Nurbek.
