🔥 Alibaba introduced the most powerful AI chip in China - it is three times faster than its predecessor. The new Zhenwu V900 is designed for both training neural networks and running ready-made models. It received 216 GB of memory, 1200 GB/s bandwidth and support for FP8 and FP4 computing. Alibaba is positioning the development as a potential alternative to Nvidia accelerators. Moreover, the company will not limit itself to selling a separate chip: on its basis they will create their own Panjiu server platform with network and control processors. The first systems with Zhenwu V900 should appear in early 2027, and for 2028 Alibaba has already planned the next generation - Zhenwu J900. Source
