💻 Googlebook: Google has released a new category of laptops with Android, ChromeOS and Gemini Google officially introduced line of Googlebook laptops and opened pre-orders - this happened after months of leaks and teasers since May 2026. The devices will go on sale on October 4 in the United States. ▶️ Five flagship models from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo are made from “premium materials”: aluminum, magnesium alloy and carbon fiber. They run on the new Googlebook OS - a hybrid of the Android technology stack with developments from ChromeOS, created for Gemini Intelligence. Prices start at $899. The main feature is deep integration with an Android smartphone: • Continue On—started the task on the phone, continued on the laptop without losing the context; • Cast My Apps - launch applications in a separate window on your computer; • files and photos from your smartphone are available directly in the laptop’s file manager; • support for applications from Google Play, including versions of Photoshop, Lightroom and CapCut optimized for the large screen; • full-fledged Chrome with extensions and an isolated Linux environment with a terminal for developers. 🎁A year is included with each device
subscription to Google AI Pro, as well as three months of YouTube Premium and Adobe Photoshop. 👀 The first models can already be seen in detail: Acer has a 14-inch OLED (2880×1800, up to 120 Hz) on an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 with 16 GB of RAM; Dell (XPS Googlebook line) has a 13.4-inch screen (2560x1600) on Snapdragon X Elite with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage, starting at $1,200. 📷 BlueScreen | Digital Kazakhstan
