This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Binur Zhalenov at the Central Asia FinTech Summit. The new license will give payment organizations more opportunities. They will be able to independently issue payment cards without the participation of a bank, serve legal entities, conduct cross-border payments and launch new payment services. Last week, the National Bank and Binance signed a corresponding memorandum. According to Zhalenov, part of the company’s global business is planned to be served from Kazakhstan.
