More than 200 top managers, IT and HR directors, and market experts gathered to discuss how digital processes transform disparate tools into a unified business system. On September 25, the annual conference DocFlow Day 2026, organized by Docrobot Central Asia, took place at the InterContinental Almaty hotel. By tradition, the conference was opened by Timur Marusyak, executive director of Docrobot Central Asia. In his speech, he drew a parallel between a company and a living organism, where every department, document and process is connected to each other. Ivan Fedyakov, founder and CEO of INFOLine, presented analytics on the retail market of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. After his report, the participants switched to the game format. An interactive quiz warmed up the room with questions about digitalization. Ruslan Kharisov, director of logistics at Small, shared the scale of the company. Behind the numbers lies the daily work of hundreds of suppliers, and EDI makes it manageable. The KEDO block turned out to be as rich as possible. Ayim Zhumabekova, head of the HR group at SCHNEIDER GROUP Almaty, told how electronic document management simplifies the lives of employees. Tatyana Skachko, CEO of Smart Solutions, showed how KEDO is becoming a tool for scaling a business. Anna Poluektova, director of business processes at Arbuz Group, proved using the example of her company that the synergy of solutions gives an effect that cannot be obtained from individual tools. After the coffee break, Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva, deputy of the Kurultai and author of the Digital Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, answered questions from the audience about the practice of applying the new standards. Evgeniy Pitolin, co-chairman of the information security committee of the Qaztech Alliance, explained why trust becomes an asset, and information security becomes a competitive advantage. The highlight of the day was two discussions. Matvey Gulin, Operations Director of Dudar LLP, actively, and at times tricky, but entertainingly moderated the round table of IT directors. Top IT directors of the largest Kazakh companies took part in the conversation. And the round table of HR directors brought together Alexey Chistyakov, CEO of Talent Craft, in the role of moderator, and HR specialists from the most successful companies in Kazakhstan. After lunch, Michael Germershausen, General Director of Antal International in the Eurasia region, presented the key trends in the labor market of Kazakhstan for 2026–2027. Madina Mukazhanova, chief accountant of Docrobot Central Asia, examined in detail the current changes in tax legislation. Alexander Likhtman, founder of the ITCOMMS PR agency, recalled that a leader’s personal brand is the necessary ability to speak on time, honestly and with expertise. The final chord was the performance of Zhenis Aitzhanov, an illusionist and 5-time record holder of the Guinness Book of Records. At the press wall, guests were greeted by an original musician with an instrument he made with his own hands. During the coffee break, violinists performed on the stage. Live music added a special mood to the business program. DocFlow Day 2026 confirmed that digitalization in Kazakhstan is an open conversation about the connections that turn business into interaction between people, business and the state.
