In Almaty, the Republican Physics and Mathematics School (RFMS) opened Lenovo AI Class - a specialized class for teaching programming and artificial intelligence. The new space is designed for 15 students. Lenovo reported this. Lenovo AI Class appeared as part of the renovation of the school's educational buildings. According to the technology company, the classroom is equipped with Lenovo V15 Gen 5 laptops powered by Intel Core i5 processors. There is also a separate laboratory where students can work on their own projects. In Lenovo AI Class, students will be able not only to learn theory, but also to immediately use the knowledge gained. This, as the company explained, will help them develop skills in working with modern technologies - exactly the same as those used in real business projects. The opening of the updated RFMS buildings was attended by Lenovo Corporate Sales Director in the EECA territory Gaziz Abdrasilov and Lenovo Corporate Sales Manager Asylkhan Telbaev. Also present at the event were the director of the RFMSH Meirbek Meirlan Edigeruly, representatives of the Almaty akimat, school graduates, sponsors, philanthropists and honored guests. "It is important for us that modern technologies become part of our

educational process not only at the theoretical level. Lenovo AI Class gives students the opportunity to get hands-on with technology, try out their ideas, and create their own projects. We are pleased to support RFMS in the development of such a space and hope that it will help students take their first steps in the field of artificial intelligence and programming,” said Gaziz Abdrasilov, director of corporate sales at Lenovo in the EECA territory. “It is important for us that modern technologies become part of the educational process not only at the theoretical level. So, for example, last year the company opened the first Ed-tech class in Kazakhstan at the NIS International Baccalaureate School. Previously, she equipped an auditorium at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Satpayev and entered into a partnership with Creative Talent Hub, providing computers to the first Creative School named after Bibigul Tulegenova. Lenovo is also an authorized supplier of computer equipment within the framework of the national project “Comfortable Schools”. The technology company believes that such initiatives help the new generation develop the competencies needed in the digital economy.
